He wants them to be like Asian cultures such as Japan and Korea… you know the ones that are going through severe population decline, have some of the highest rates of suicide and family units are being decimated from having no other time. It really amazes me how single minded rich people can be and they think they have the answers to a complex problem.

I don’t get this kind of people.

People are not robots. Workers after 8 hours are definitely less productive and more distracted. Since anyway you’re going to pay by the hour (right? You are going to pay the extra hours, right?) isn’t better to pay a different shift? Then your office has always fresh people with happier morale and not zombies that are just waiting to go home after 12 hours of slave work

I like the part where they install nets around buildings to catch jumpers and send them back to work. There is no escape from the elites grasp. We are doomed.

Judging by the way wages have dropped since 2008, at latest, it feels as if we’re heading for a new era of feudalism.

I have an idea, happier people are more productive. More production means less operating hours. Less operating hours = less cost.

Unless I get a full week off every other week, there’s not a number high enough that I’d do 84hrs a week. I’d be slightly tempted if I could make enough to completely retire in a 1-4 months, but that’s not what they’re going for, they’re going for continued employment at 84 hrs a week.
