With the amount of people that made their account with a fake DOB of like 1900 or something to get around mature content I’m sure they already see plenty of users that age lol
Yeah I took a couple shots last night with my S21 Ultra and it just made the sky look like the old default wallpaper from like Mac OS X
I’d love to get my hands on even a decent condition 1st gen iPod, but people want insane amounts for them now. Even my 5.5 gen was more than i wanted to pay but nearly mint.
This is exactly what happened with my mom trying to buy a Christmas gift for my nephew. She knew he had an Xbox but had no clue which version it was so she didn’t know which version of a game to get. I told her to just buy an Xbox store gift card and call it a day, much easier than trying to figure out which version of the console he had. Didn’t want her to buy him a disc if he had the Series S.
Imagine playing CS2 or CoD and getting flashbanged with a screen that bright
Man I’ve followed like 6 different guides to a T and tried with 4 different distros and still can’t get it to work. I’m done fighting with it for a while. Maybe it’s just an issue with 7000 series AMD cards or the guides aren’t up to date with the kernals idk. I need to take a long break from it before I get upset and just return the GPU lol
Appreciate you trying to help though, truly
Sorry for the delayed reply, don’t have much free time on work days.
Was launching the VM via virt-manager. Do you want the overview XML or for a specific category within virt-manager?
lspci -k
shows both my GPUs are there now but trying to load the BM says iommu group is not viable
Yes, I installed libvirt along with the many other packages required
Passthrough not actually working, VM not detecting the GPU or not loading qemu properly even with everything loaded properly. Tried on 3 different distros (Ubuntu and arch based) and none worked. Might try the other suggestion to swap the cards. Just means I’ll have to redo my water loop for the 2nd time this week 🙃
Me this past weekend trying to setup GPU passthrough to a VM. Bought an AMD card just to passthrough my existing Nvidia one and have had nothing but issues with multiple distros 😔
Damn, I remember watching RvB when it was still just cropped gameplay footage with the reticle visible on the screen. I have the Blu-ray box set of seasons 1-10 and the Chorus Trilogy. After Monty died everything kinda started going downhill. Final nail in the coffin I guess.
My raid is software as well, through TrueNAS Scale.
Yes, it breaks off to 4 SATA connectors, here’s a link on Amazon for an example.
I see a lot of drives there, all presumably connected via SATA. If you’re looking to add more drives in the future I recommend a SAS card or two, specifically a Dell PERC H310 flashed in IT mode. I picked one up on eBay for $20 a while back and it gives me 8 drive connectivity. Also snag some mini SAS to SATA cables to connect the drives.
I’ve got 44TB running in my Plex server using it and have had 0 issues with the card. Even had a friend 3D print a fan housing and attached a small Noctua fan to the heatsink for some peace of mind when doing large data transfers to make sure the card doesn’t overheat.
Edit: Like so
Some original Fat models can run them through either emulation or with actual onboard PS2 hardware. They’re getting pretty pricy now and they’re not super reliable but those models do exist. Beware the Yellow Light of Death.
I’ve got a 13" M1 MBP about 2 years ago and I wanted to test it’s power after I set it up. I loaded up Final Cut Pro, got to work editing a 15ish minute 1440p video with a lot of elements to it. The render time was about 3 minutes, which is on par or faster than my 5950x/3090 K|ngp|n desktop, and the fans didn’t even turn on. It’s not over hype. M2, sure I can agree since it was marginal uplift over M1. I’m not even an Apple fanboy, but that M1 chip is damn good for an off the shelf workstation.
Listen the game isn’t perfect and did have a rough launch, but they’re actively working on fixing and improving it. I’ve had 8+ hour straight binges of gameplay on it and enjoy it plenty. Is it completely what I hoped for? Not exactly, and the game could use more optimization but I still very much enjoy it, personally. It’s more enjoyable to me so far than the first game, especially with the new tools and features they’ve added.
Toxicity is so dumb with g*mers, just refund and leave an honest review then move on with your lives people, geez.
I still hold a sliver of hope for campaign DLC, but I know it probably won’t happen.
I’ve run into a similar issue, I built a media PC for my living room which includes a 4K compatible Blu-ray drive. After spending an hour trying to flash it’s BIOS in Linux, realizing Windows would take 2 minutes to do the same task, then finally testing a disk, I find that DRM ruins that. All my 4K disks will not play because it’s a crapshoot if they do play. It will rip them no problem, but not play.
I could fix this by using Windows, however I don’t want windows on this system, it works quickly and with no annoyances in Linux.
So now I have to resort back to the PS5 as my player until I figure something out.
I knew someone who had the MO-RA3 through those ports and had it on the other side of the room. He sold it to another person in the discord server we were in and he actually installed it in his basement directly below the computer on the floor above. Wild
