  • I bought a dehumidifier off amazon that was “rated” for 800 sq ft.

Not only did it not live up to that promise, but it also served as the worlds shittiest ice maker. Ice formed on the radiator inside and stoped it from dehumidifying the air.

Thats right, you too can have a ice maker that makes ice in the shape of a radiator while ineffectively dehumidifying your home!

Best part was they reached out after I left a one star review and what they could do to change my rating.

I said “Nothing. Make a better product”

  • Im pretty happy but due to ADHD im never really satisfied with what i have currently in a sense.

I’m very grateful for my job, my current living situation and my partner but im always looking forward to new projects and stuff that i wanna do. I finish one thing and i really like that and then i move onto the next thing cause i feel like i have to. Just cant sit still for too long.

How it happened is i just got lucky. I got a good family that helped me with a place to live, my buddy helped me get my current job in an IT adjacent position, and i met my gf on tinder when she was just about to leave the app for good.

So yea, just kinda got lucky. I do work hard too and struggled alot with ADHD and other mental health issues before getting diagnosed so im glad things worked out eventually.

  • Ah i see, so because its connected to other devices in the sidewalk network, if my neighbor has it hooked up to wifi and mine isnt, it still can connect to the internet.

Yea that sucks. I hate that. I have “smart” TV that i never connected to my wifi cause i use a pc for streaming.

Next thing yknow theres gonna be lte modems in these things that they pay to keep on just to spy on us ffs man.

  • Brother laser printers are good for everyone, not just Linux users.

Helped my gfs mom troubleshoot her HP printer (I know, ew. She bought it before we met) and finally figured out from the stupid app that it was out of one color.

The app doesnt indicate this in words though, Oh no. Just a stupid infographic that doesnt say ANYTHING. Just shows a nondescript bar at the top.

Only reason I downloaded it was i thought it would be a bit more user friendly.

Long story short I recommended a brother laser printer because the last time I replaced a cartridge in it was a couple years back and that was after printing things for god knows how long. And mine is old af.

  • I know 3 different people that are on the spectrum and while they do experience life differently and face different and or unique challenges, yes, absolutely you can live a normal fulfilling life.

Like with any mental health condition, it can make things that are everyday or normal for most folks more difficult so its important to not only seek guidance from a mental health professional but also have a good support structure. People you can count on to help you when you need it.

Everyone is a little different of course so finding the right fit for each can be kinda hard but all 3 people i know are happy, healthy, and are living a good life.

Everyone is weird anyways. I know plenty of neruotypical people that do weird stuff. Humans are weird by nature so what “normal” is to one person might be “weird” to another.
