Thanks for your responses. Pretty incredible that its capable of being so flexible and still be a coherent game. The community behind it must be amazingly passionate about it.

What is it about Deus Ex that allows that type of mod to exist?
I don’t mind the way FairEmail does it. There is a pop up the first time its launched after an update, which shows the release notes.
Something like that, one time only, with a link to the Feedback button inside the settings within the app or something would be a good balance.
Framework just announced a RISC-V motherboard you can get which is pretty awesome. Obviously designed for developers etc, but its a good step.
Feed the Deep - swim down the depths to haul resources back, so you can upgrade your air tank etc. Super chill vibe, but has some really cool mechanics with the environment and enemies that you come across which make survival much more difficult.
I had a Sony Xperia something for years, no case. Then I upgraded to a Samsung and gave my Sony to my mum. She cracked the back of it almost immediately lol
All good mate, no stress
I’m not saying people don’t have issues, just that as a blanket statement it isn’t correct.
You can’t take any distro and not have trouble with Nvidia drivers.
That may have been true over 10 years ago but that isn’t the case anymore. There are plenty of distros that support it OOTB, there are also some helper scripts available as well if that’s your thing.
Anecdotally, I’ve had more issues with AMD (performance and reliability).
The one I wrote myself. Not because its any better ha ha. Its pretty fun to work on it though.
Yea I think that might be what ruined it for me. The bar was raised pretty high with LOTR, and The Hobbit was my favourite book growing up.
I really enjoyed the first 3 movies, couldn’t get behind The Hobbit at all. I don’t have high hopes for this.
Its been a while for that classic
It’s Linkin Park. Found it amusing that you’re stating their whole discography is great, but misspelled their name.
Only 6 hours on battery? That’s pretty low I’d have thought.
I guess you’d need 10 to represent 0, and if you got 2x 10 that would be 100?
You have my vote. The out of the box experience would be polished and I have no doubt would be done very well.
Just watched a review. Looks pretty good, they specifically mention Home Assistant as well which is very cool.
Well, the goal would be that its not accessible externally. And I’m OK with providing footage should they request it - that’s just something you have to accept when owning a security system.
Kingdom Come:Deliverance. I started playing when in had a 1080ti and got pretty far, then I tried to upgrade to an AMD 6900xt. The AMD card performed worse than my old 1080ti on that specific game, which I later found out because AMD had (maybe still does) huge performance issues with the CryEngine.
After a month of messing about trying to get it to play well I ended up returning the card for a 3070ti instead and just never picked up the game again.
