I forgot about Bitcoin when it was still mostly worthless. I got rid of my old laptop when it had a ton of issues. I had around 8 btc left in a wallet after spending several hundred on um… An ancient trade route lol.

For now, they still provide DRM free downloads in FLAC. And they still pay the artists on the Fridays. I’ll continue using it till they inevitably fuck it up.
I wish list stuff until a Bandcamp Friday comes around where artists get all the money. I’ve stopped buying physical media, so waiting on a digital purchase isn’t an issue for me.
The other key feature being cost. A VDI terminal is much cheaper than actual PCs for employees. When I was working IT for a large company, we were able to get them in bulk for about $100 each. A PC cost us at least $800.
As far as I can tell, I have visual dreams. At least what I remember of them. I’ve also noticed having internal visual imagery on certain drugs. Mainly hallucinogens, but also on phenobarbital which is used for alcohol withdrawal.
It was two months post surgery.
I have aphantasia. I’m not blind and could watch porn but I’d much rather just talk it out in my mind lol. I’m imagining my experience is probably similar to that of blind people.
I used to buy FIFA and NHL games, once every few years. But they’ve gotten so shitty I just gave up on them. I haven’t played a soccer game in years now. PES used to be a good alternative but I’ve heard it’s not great anymore either.
When it made it to Netflix, it had a resurgence. It probably reached a wider audience, and it’s honestly a good binge show. I think it’s fun, albeit super unrealistic.
Don’t forget the tokenism in the description of this post.
OP: “It’s ok, I have trans friends”
Bandcamp has been great but I fear the enshittification coming. Half the staff was fired by Epic Games last year and then it was sold to a music conglomerate.
And if you have the knowledge or savvy to use a network wide solution like pihole, I haven’t seen an ad in over a year. It’s not a perfect solution cuz I haven’t figured out how to filter ads on Mobile. But I’ve accepted that I just watch YouTube on my laptop or desktop.
I have been dealing with possibly having cancer for the last 4 months. After my 3rd biopsy they’re saying it isn’t. They’re still not sure what it is. But I feel so guilty for bringing my friends down with me only to tell them that it’s not life threatening like we thought.
My old group loved to do a few blind rounds of coup after we were ready to move onto another game. Made for chaos and great fun for everyone. That was usually our warm up game - still waiting for people to show up, maybe snacks were still being prepared, Hosts walking the dog, etc.
But of course, first round, EVERYONE is a Duke.
Yeah. Even my own team was pissed at me. I took a risky move that worked out in the end because I used their weakness against them. That’s part of the reason that BotC is so much better than many social deduction games - it’s often not entirely solvable, even with optimal play. And just let people have fun sometimes, who cares about making the “objectively best decision” at all times.
Some of the most fun I’ve had has been playing the Baron. Just getting to sew as much discord as possible early game, and if I die? Oh well. I once managed to get into 3 double claims on day one and somehow didn’t get executed till day 3 lol.
Even my own team was pissed at me because my move was super risky. But because I could see the way people were expecting optimal play, I figured it would work in our favor.
One person said, “WHY WOULD YOU DO SOMETHING SO FUCKING STUPID? YOU THREW YOUR OWN TEAM UNDER THE BUS”
Yeah, but it worked cuz nobody expected anybody would do such a crazy move.
One of my exes did photography, first as a hobby, then did some weddings and stuff. He went to a class to learn more, and a lot of the more experienced people gave him shit because his camera was “basic”. It was a Canon or Nikon DSLR. Sure nothing amazing or super expensive, but he knew how to use it and no one ever complained about his photos they paid for.
People in any hobby that requires equipment draws these people. There were a couple cool people I met that he made friends with though. They had nicer gear, but weren’t assholes about it. Let him try them out and taught him about the benefits and use cases and stuff too.
Yeah it sat in my wallet for a long time and wasn’t really gaining any value. I didn’t have a need for the trade route anymore cuz I just used it once for some exotic spices that I didn’t really care for. Mining wasn’t an option for me because I didn’t have a powerful computer as a broke college kid. So I just kinda checked out.
Still sucks to think about how I could have ended up with a great return, but hindsight is 20/20 and all that.
