Pronouns: it/its, she/her, or fae/faer. It refers to itself in third person. That’s just how it be.
If you think this debate is about which one is “better” you have fundamentally missed the point. Disregarding the AI aspect entirely, art is subjective. “Better” is completely meaningless in that context. Is it more technically proficient? Better composed? Even if answers match, it could be for entirely different reasons between people. And then there are people who will disagree entirely. There is no objective measure. So then, what is the point of art?
It’s different for everyone, and it just so happens that a significant portion find AI generated compositions hollow on top of being unethical.
It’s not exactly safe money when you’re spending well deserved good will continuing to work with a company that is self-destructing it’s own good will. They’re quitting while they’re FAR ahead.
The OP literally explained the feature in their post. The notification light.
You don’t have to justify yourself to them lol. You already are being the change they allege you want to see. And in the process created a resourced for others of like mind to find sources of news that doesn’t focus on tech business. A great first post.
You’re right and it never was. Because the game is free on one platform and not the other in this scenario.
Maybe the game was free on EGS but not on Steam?
Well clarified. Thank you for that. While that doesn’t bother it nearly as much, it does find itself battling the camera more often than it’d like so it can definitely see where you’re coming from.
Why did you choose the background that makes you do evil things if you didn’t want to do evil things or at least grapple with the struggle of trying (and possibly failing) to overcome those urges?
Also, can’t think of a single party member so far except one that is straight up evil. Selfish sure, but realistically ALL people are either self-interested or suicidal. Even the folks who do selfless things do so for some sort of selfish reason, even if that’s personal fulfillment through good deeds. But even the first two companions are neutral at worst. Rude? Definitely. Not evil. And their views can evolve over time.
Also… How do you KNOW you aren’t fighting for something bigger?
Hate to nitpick an opinion but it feels like these problems are self-inflicted or based on the first 15 minutes of the story with most of the dialogue skipped.
Whatcha mean by locked camera? Not disagreeing, just not sure what you’re referring to.
Agreed, though these aren’t mutually exclusive. Lemmy as it stands is objectively a better platform in terms of mobile user experience now that third party apps were gutted for Reddit. So switching, at least for itself, is a protest using this platform while Reddit either dies a slow, painful death or takes strides to unshittify their stuff. Will probably end up using both if Reddit gets it together but that’s unlikely.
Yes and it was insightful.
