I couldn’t care less about Superman.
I couldn’t care less about Superman.
I’m from Europe, but I defo enjoyed deep diving into that topic thanks to HST. :)
Oh yeah, that one is a true masterpiece, too. It’s included in one of my HST sports books, but I’d have to check my book shelf to confirm which one.
As much as I appreciate the Gonzo work of HST, my favourite book of Hunter is still his first one called Hell’s Angels back from the late 60s. It’s a very powerful piece of observing journalism and I highly recommend this particular read to anyone interested in books.
When in doubt, C4!
Not as powerful as the glass door, though.
Does getting knocked out by walking into a glass door count? Broke my nose, btw.
Vinegar smell makes me want to vomit and it’s used in every fecking fish n chips place. blergh
Bamboozled has a nice buzz to it.
Parrot? The obvious choice?
squaaawk
Tokyo Vice is one of the best shows I’ve seen in years. Defo worth checking out. Enjoy.
Why not both? I love Ulster fry, but thanks to Brexit my plans moving to Belfast got cut short.
There’s my favourite chipper in Greystones, Ireland. They sell the Tasty Roll. Probably instant cancer, but I don’t give a damn. I grab one every time I’m down there.
It’s a baguette filled with chips (fries), bacon, garlic sauce and molten cheese.
Full Irish breakfast. Every single day until a heart attack gets me.
Horses are fucking douchebags. One ran me over back when I was 6 years old. I never forgave them.
Boss like boss fight? My phone plays “Once upon a time in the west - Man with a harmonica” whenever my ex wife calls. Thankfully, this doesn’t happen too often anymore.
As an ex musician I lost about half my hearing on both sides. When there’s multiple people speaking in the same room, too loud background music / other sounds or when people talk to me from the next room, I won’t be able to understand a single word.
Also my bones got the density of dry wall due to an illness and many kinds of physical activities can be outright dangerous for me. I broke one of my ribs about a week ago carrying a box upstairs to my new gaff. Slightly bumped it in my side on the banister. Big ouch.
About 2 years ago I got diagnosed with a very bad case of osteoporosis. I’m 37 now and my bones are shockingly fragile. Saturday I moved to a new gaff, carrying a box upstairs, slightly bumping the box into my side on the banister. I felt how one of my ribs broke.
It is super annoying. Meds can’t really fix it though since other meds for another condition are likely causing the low bone density. I don’t know how many years this will take off my life expectancy or when I’ll have to start using crutches.
