No, it’s obviously soy consumption
This has placed the prime minister in a political vise. If he commits to postwar Palestinian rule in Gaza and begins acting seriously to establish it, he loses the far right. But if he commits to resettling Gaza, he loses the Israeli majority and the international community. And so, as he has often done in the past, Netanyahu has chosen not to choose
Oh, he’s chosen.
Yeah, I sometimes forget that the law isn’t a code to be broken with this One Neat Trick. That goes double when you are going up against power.
The ToS forbids satirical reviews. I’d start a review by reading out this portion of the ToS and then make a list of things I hate, just saying I’m not allowed to talk about this aspect of the game, or this aspect of the game, etc, etc.
$375 million in today’s dollars would cover (adjusted for inflation) the marketing and development of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_most_expensive_video_games_to_develop
A fingerprint is a password you leave a copy of on everything you touch.
Don’t go to https://massgrave.dev/ and follow the instructions there, that would be copyright infringement and would deprive an already insanely wealthy corporation of some funds.
My guess is that it’s related to the Weber-Fechner laws of perception. This is the same principle that explains why turning a second light on doesn’t make a room seem twice as bright. Fechner’s formulation is “the intensity of our sensation increases as the logarithm of an increase in energy rather than as rapidly as the increase.”
If I say someone is my ally, I’m automatically their ally.
You might be lying; you also might not understand what the person needs or wants, to the point that the actions you are taking or endorsing are harmful to them.
Chamber of Commerce Republicans sowing: Haha fuck yeah!!! Yes!!
Chamber of Commerce Republicans reaping: Well this fucking sucks. What the fuck.
I avoid gas stations that have ads. There’s a chain where I live that doesn’t do them, so they get all my business.
I completely agree with his points but enshittification is such a cringey word
If people took half of the energy they spend shaming people for not adhering to the two-party system and turned it to pressuring Biden to be a better candidate he’d have switched positions by now
Wanting to stop Israel from murdering children: “catering to me and my friends”
The meme text itself refers to “frequent” updates. Seems weird to compare apples to oranges, since release updates are not frequent. Even still, updating from buster to bookworm was relatively painless; certainly not 3 hours of reconfiguration. Before that, I was on Ubuntu, and the release updates were also painless; I remember multiple times not needing to do anything except uncomment the sources.list(.d) changes.
[edit: Another quick point. Since Debian/Ubuntu manage configuration for you to some extent, you don’t need to fix configuration files as often as you would need to on Arch, hence not needing to do ~20+ config changes for two years of updates all at once.]
I’m running 4 Debian machines, all configured to automatically update every night, and this has never happened to me.
Probably fine. I think a lot about how Bayer, which literally made the gas for the chambers, is still around and apparently doing well. And while Germany was war ravaged, it wasn’t to a much greater extent than the rest of Europe.
