I didn’t say it wasn’t a terrible situation. I truthfully answered the OPs question that it’s not Article 48 as there are still opportunities for review by the other branches of government.

These actions were already possible. Nothing has been granted that wasn’t already there, but now we know a president can’t be sued/charged for official acts after they leave office. And it appears the burden of proof is, as always, up to the prosecutors to prove. So, once again, the courts will have to establish precedence over what they consider to be official and unofficial.
The president’s power is still checked via judicial review and congressional impeachment.
Germany could have disavowed the Zimmerman Telegram and avoided or postponed the U.S. entering The Great War, but they fucking owned that shit.
McQueen didn’t win the Piston Cup, Chick did.
Guy shouts “welcome to the world of tomorrow” from Futurama EP 1 when Fry gets unfrozen.

Which 10 states would those be? I don’t know of any state that prohibits an abortion when the life of the mother is at risk.

This is the hidden-variables hypothesis and specific tests were made to check for it. See https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bell's_theorem
Right. All I remember from the marketing material, even the bespoke website, was an image of a Sentinel. Seeing that was enough for me to avoid all reviews, but I did visit that website a few more times and still had no idea what the movie was about. Saw it opening night. Actually I was a bit disappointed by the premise, seemed very derivative. Still a great movie tho.
I also gave Outer Wilds a try and don’t think it stood up to the hype. Got through probably 95% of the story and then gave up on it, there were two “puzzles” that I just couldn’t figure out. Ended up reading a walkthrough and was not sad at all that I put it down.
Go away. ‘Baten.
My favorite is https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Umayyad_Mosque. It’s been a holy place under various religions since the Iron Age.
I wonder if this movie will inspire a whole new generation of Audi car designs all over again
I drove a Dodge Shadow with a Mitsubishi V6 to two first places in Lemons.

My take on it:
Powerful nations almost inevitably sponsor terrorist groups to be a thorn in the side for other nations. These terrorists target civilians to ensure a disproportionate response. There is no end to these conflicts because the primary fighters have no desire to negotiate and are willing to sacrifice any civilians around them as meat shields.
The U.S. does it (Taliban v1, many coups). Israel does it (Hamas). Iran does it (Hamas, Hezbolla and Yemen). Russia does it (Taliban v2, many coups).
Can’t remember hearing about China or India doing it though? But they care about a different part of the world and so I’m not sure I hear about it as much in western media.
The first casualty of war is truth
Winston Churchill ,or someone, maybe
Relax, we still haven’t seen a ton of assassinations yet
This sounds like the status quo that existed before this ruling. Any president could plead the 5th to avoid answering questions about their motive.
