We were bored.
We were bored.

Not defending the joke, but they were dry heaving because it’s implied that she made out with everyone on the police force, including Ace. Thinking about it that’s actually worse. Huh.
There’s about 3 mountains and a valley between what they did and baby mode.
I beat 5 of the bosses so far, and I’m wondering when they’re going to start being fun. Because I’m not having fun killing bosses, and every boss feels the same to fight.
The game doesn’t need to be super nerfed, but right now even From is admitting they need tweaking.
I like to put shiny things in my nest.
That’s what I thought at the time “yes that does spell elder scrolls VI, Bethesda, and?”
When you want to win an internet argument so badly that you miss the point on purpose.
Nah, the only times I want to play doom are when I want to turn my brain off. Shoot moving thing. Great success.
Close, but they genuinely think video games are a lesser medium than movies. So of course they don’t take this movie, or our standards seriously.
I’m drinking water as we speak and none of you can stop me!
The answer is that corporations absolutely resent customers having standards.
In an ideal world, to them, you just hand them your paycheck and passwords and keys to your house directly in exchange for nothing.
That’s what enshittification is: the slow, inevitable frog boiling rise towards that reality where consumers have absolutely no standards, and are completely comfortable with being an exploited resource, even thankful for the opportunity to be exploited. You already see that shit with Games Cash Shops as a service. All you have to do is put the skeleton of a game in there and you will instantly have a conditioned audience of goobers willing to die for you.
Cheaters? In my single player game?!

It’s a 50/50 chance that something I post gets downvoted to hell and it doesn’t seem to matter what I actually said.
On the bright side, I’ve seen more posts calling it out lately, so maybe things can start to turn around.
If you weren’t trying to immediately be combative for no fucking reason, I might’ve told you.
I didn’t have a huge problem with Queen’s gambit. I was not convinced that her character in The Menu was actually a working class person, though.
She strikes me as the kind of Actress who has a brand, and that brand has nothing to do with her acting skills.
To clarify, I mean she seems like her brand involves “don’t eat that cheeseburger too much like a poor person”, or she will spoil her image.
I just don’t believe an actress who can’t even act out eating a cheese burger like it wasn’t beneath her could act like a post apocalyptic hard ass.
Also, this thumbnail makes me think this prequel is really just the origin story of her buzz cut.
Every former expat I’ve asked says the same thing.
Japan is for Japanese people.
Almost every single gag was done in the first movie.
She’s anti vax, unfortunately.
