It should be built in at this point. It’s annoying to apply userChrome.css tweaks to remove normal tabs and sidebar header.

People use whatever ‘Internet icon’ came with their device and live their ignorant, but happy life :)

It sea4ches in different languages, but there is no way to force language of the results. Instead, ot tries to be “smart” and uses languages of the region. So it has the same problem Google and Bing does: giving you results in random languages outside of language region (or in multi-lingual regions), even when request is explicitly in language A.

There is a feature request to implement this setting, but not much hope to have this soon.

On this note, if someone knows of a search engine that allows specifying language of results, please let me know :)

Most companies I worked with had a choice of the work laptop, usually Windows/Linux or MacBook. And the trick is, you cannot buy cheap MacBook. So the choice is using linux but with a terrible screen, unusable trackpad and bad hardware, or take MacBook and enjoy all premium.

So I always take MacBook and then ask for a local workstation where I will have linux with i3 / Sway WM.

Still the case, got my B197 driving license last week in Bavaria. You have 10 lessons with manual as part of your education, then the rest + exam on automatic. B197 allows to drive both, B allows automatic only.

This piece of interview with Roger Corman on Joe Dante’s work on trailers is my fawourite:

"Were there any elements that you had to tell Dante to tone down?

Not really. There was one memorable moment when Joe showed me a trailer for a picture just before lunch. I said, “Joe, it’s alright, but it isn’t quite as exciting as I would like it to be.” He said, “Let me work on it through lunch.” I came back after lunch, and it was exactly the same trailer, trimmed a little bit, with an exploding helicopter. I said, “Joe, that’s an exploding helicopter from a war picture we shot in the Philippines!” He said, “Well, don’t you think it helps the trailer?” It did. It was great. And I thought about it for a little while, and I figured, there’s no law that says every scene in a trailer has to be in the picture. So we left it in. Glad to hear it’s enjoyable to fail in BG3. I haven’t played it yet due to lack of free time. But when I played Disco Elysium, there I had so much time wasted on reloading to roll again non-recoverable rolls. In DE they were often just cutting you of from enjoying the moment.

1. Keyboard layouts could be combined (e.g. de/en together).
2. Auto punctuation is great: space after comma and full stop, full stop pn double space (but only if makes sense) etc.
3. Very customisable.
4. Suggestions are good for all languages I use.
