Everyone is talking about society or physiology stuff. That is just things that might get humans.
Stars going super-nova is the real great filter. Our sun is 4.6 billion years old. Life started 4 billion years ago. In 4 billion years, the sun goes supernova. We are halfway to the end of the earth.
Smaller stars last longer, but have smaller ranges that life can exist in - and planets tend to move in or out in their orbits. Bigger stars have giant habitable zones - but some large stars born when humans took their first steps are in their last decades of life. You couldn’t get from the pyramids to NASA in that time, never mind the 4 billion years it took to get to humans.
How many years would his prison sentence have been if he was extradided the year he fled to the embassy? I feel like he would have been out by now. Wasn’t he leaking early Iraq war corruption stuff? That was 20 years ago.
Better than South Korea’s 69 hour work week
Voice recognition vs. Download an app where you can’t make mistakes (and a giant corporation can harvest your data). Hmm, I wonder which mcway mcdonalds will go?
“Will you be using our app today?”
I think it is time to bring back The Wadsworth Constant!
They realized that no matter how much they charged as a one time fee, the people the got the one time fee enterprise license would eventually cost them more in computational costs them the fee. So they switched it to 6000 image generations, which wasn’t enough for most of the community that made fixes and trained loras, so none of the “cool” community stuff will work with SD3.
Heck, if they went back to Oblivion’s concept of having the npcs with predefined lives and goals and slapped a free version of chatgtp onto the npc interactions, it would be cool.
Didn’t they make an MMO in the mean time? It is like asking when Warcraft 4 is going to be released.
While that might not be economically feasible, I’ve always wondered why plug-in electrics couldn’t send power back into the grid. No solar? Send energy onto the grid during the day from the car and recharge during the off-hours at night. Solar? Recharge during the day and send energy onto the grid at night. Just make sure to set a minimum charge that will get you to a charging station.
Checked wikipedia myself this morning. Looks like they switched it from the state attorney generals deciding what is “harmful content” to the FTC. Previously, an Anti-LGBTQ state attorney general could label any progressive website as bad and ban it for minors. (and because no one know how to age verification, that just means everyone). Now that only happens if Republicans get control of the whitehouse and appoint a activist to head the FTC.
As long as they don’t come for internet access, kids can get around book bans with things like Libby.
What’s that? Republicans are proposing an internet book ban bill call KOSA? Well good thing we have divided goverment. It will never pass.
Wait? Biden is supporting it? Well, that doesn’t mean… wait, Elizabeth Warren is a cosposonser? Wtf?
Trump will eventually do something that gets between rich people and their money while also being an impeachable offense. The “sane” bussiness republican VP will pardon Trump after his impeachment and have him live out the rest of his life as a fox news call in guest until he died of “old age”.
Is Google not using a RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) system with their llms?
Many different u.s. interventions over the years.
Anyone know if who is second in command (or third if second in command is the defense minister?). Iran isn’t one of those countries that has like 5 VPs, right?
Temperature is the measure of average thermal kinetic energy of particles…
