It’s dumb, but I think the author was trying to say, “we have an emissions solution for the motor, and now it’s worth exploring where else we need to address emissions for motor vehicles.”

¿Por qué no los dos?
How are you generating stories with Apple Intelligence? When I ask Siri to “tell me story,” Siri pulls from a small library of canned stories. They’re the same on iOS 17 and 18. They’re not generative and I can’t say “tell me a story about dinosaurs who where top hats.”
At this point, this guy is basically combined sperm bank and child support subsidy. You have kids with this guy if you don’t want a present biological father, and you think his money is worth dealing with his loony bullshit.
She’s praising the team for recruiting based on skill, not color. A 1/5 of Germans believe the team isn’t white enough.
Joe? I want Deuce.
IMHO, the big thing is the AI stuff. The propagation of LLMs and diffusion models were always going to be a big threat to certain companies, and that cat is out of the bag. MS and Google have already started integrating those things into their products, and it was really just a matter of time before Apple did the same.
Trail selection also feels like something that is inevitable for Apple and Google. The trails have been in both companies maps for years, and both companies have smart watches with GPS and hiking workouts. I’m not shocked that you can now actually tap on a trail. This feels more like an obvious missing feature.
And the other little stuff - a calculator on the iPad? Window snapping? Passwords moved the applications folder instead of the preference panel? Timed reminders finally showing in the calendar? The only shocking thing is that these features weren’t part of the 1.0 products.
That’s what big toilet wants you to believe.
That’s how they get ya.
Exactly why big toilet always wants me to keep shitting.
IMHO, it’s a fancy dev kit.
Yeah, I’m curious to see how this plays out Rosetta 2 was scary good.
You can say the same thing about the black hole in the center of the Milky Way, our Sun, the Earth’s warm core, or the very fabric of the universe itself, etc.
They allow life to happen, but eventually, life is going to get snuffed out. Entropy is the eventual end state of all we know.
The point of for profit dating apps isn’t to find you a date. It’s to have you engage with the service for as long as possible so they can make money off you.
If you find a long term relationship, they lose a customer.
Apple has suspended work on the second-generation Vision Pro headset to singularly focus on a cheaper model
That seems very reasonable and like what they probably should’ve been doing all along.
I’ll take it over what the previous guy did.
This smells like an article created by a bot.
It’s so refreshing to actually have my tax dollars starting to fund consumer protection again.
If Trump gets in office again, it’s back to backsliding. Because apparently consumer protection is “big government” or some such shit.
The removed the dislike count a couple years ago, so you can no longer see if a video is terrible.
It wasn’t my intention to come across as aggressive. Not trying to pick a fight here.
I’m honestly just curious about how some gen AI features are showing for you. If you are able to access them, I would love to reproduce what you did so that I could fiddle with the AI as well. I’m seeing the same bedtime stories on my iOS 17 / 18 devices and my Ventura Mac.
When ask iOS 18 Siri to tell me a story, I get the same handful of stories over and over. Mouse college friends, a spider with the spindly legs, ground squirrels, etc. 🤷♂️
